The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning is a vibrant community of staff and students whose interest and expertise focuses on the built environment.

The school established one of the first Bachelor degrees in Architecture in 1927 and now educate the full range of built environment professionals. They have a lively culture of exploration manifested in many forms, from classroom and studio to research inquiry, complemented by lectures, forums and exhibitions. The cultural diversity is one of their strengths: students and staff have come to Melbourne from over 50 countries, and have a strong alumni body who hold leadership roles across Australia and the world.
